BEST WOOD SOLUTIONS FOR YOUR PROJECTS AND CONSTRUCTIONS

WE COLLABORATE CLOSELY WITH DEVELOPERS, ARCHITECTS, ENGINEERS, BUILDERS, INTERIOR DESIGNERS AND OTHER AGENTS IN THE SECTOR

They trust our advice and value the service we provide for various reasons:

  • We have a wide range of multi-brand products (we are not manufacturers), so we provide rigorous advice so that you can choose the material that best suits your needs.
  • We have our own logistics network with different locations throughout the Iberian Peninsula and the Canary Islands, which allows us to offer quality service, standardising procedures and materials for the simultaneous projects that each agent has to undertake.
  • In addition to advice for choosing the appropriate material, we provide recommendations of installers for quality work execution.

THE DIFFERENT APPLICATIONS OF WOOD PROVIDE UNIQUE VALUE TO EACH

We give technical advice on their prescription tasks, with the aim of finding the best solutions and applications of wood in their projects, always pursuing the attainment of healthy and sustainable environments and spaces.

We have a wide range of material alternatives in sawn wood, structural wood, boards, floors and coatings, also offering technical consulting and execution of the work required on site.

WOOD IS THE IDEAL MATERIAL TO COMPLY WITH THE NEW CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS AND ADVANCE TOWARDS THE 2030 SDGs

We are prescribers of the numerous benefits of wood and its derivatives in architecture and interior design We advise and accompany our clients to achieve these certifications from the use of this material of plant origin, the main carbon sink, a durable and versatile alternative, a great thermal and acoustic insulator. An ideal material to comply with the new construction standards and certifications that guarantee sustainability.

The Passivhaus standard certifies those houses created to maintain ideal atmospheric conditions inside and that achieve energy savings ranging between 70% and 90% compared to conventional houses. They are buildings that must have optimal thermal insulation in their exterior walls, breaking the thermal bridge – which prevents the interior and exterior surfaces of a window from coming into contact with each other to eliminate heat loss -, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery and high-performance windows and doors.

BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Methodology) is the technical evaluation method that certifies the sustainability of buildings and has 591,000+ certified buildings in 90 countries since its first version in 1990.

It favours a more sustainable construction that translates into greater profitability for whoever builds, operates and/or maintains the building; reducing its impact on the environment; and greater comfort and health for those who live, work or use the building.

It evaluates impact on 10 categories (Management, Health and Well-being, Energy, Transport, Water, Materials, Waste, Ecological land use, Pollution, Innovation) and awards a final score after applying an environmental weighting factor that takes into account the relative importance of each area of impact. It includes the different phases of design, construction and use of buildings and has evaluation and certification schemes depending on the type and use of the building.

BREEAM

LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) is a certification system for sustainable buildings, developed by the US Green Building Council. It was initially implemented in 1993 and has been used in several countries since then.

It consists of a set of standards on the use of strategies aimed at sustainability in buildings of all kinds. It is based on the incorporation into the project of aspects related to energy efficiency, the use of alternative energies, the improvement of indoor air quality, the efficiency of water consumption, the sustainable development of the plot’s free spaces and the selection of materials.

The WELL certification is a voluntary evaluation system driven by the Wellness phenomenon. It aims to transform our homes, offices, schools and other environments by placing health and wellness at the center of all design/build decisions.

The WELL Building Standard methodology is the result of seven years of medical research and development of working groups made up of technicians who combine their experience in the field of health and well-being. This scheme is managed and audited by the International Well Building Institute (IWBI).

The GREEN tools aim to provide a methodology for evaluating the sustainability of buildings. GBCe (Green Building Council Spain, or Council for Sustainable Building in Spain) is one of the main sustainable building organizations in our country and a benchmark in the transformation towards a sustainable model of the building sector.

GBCe belongs to a large, growing and diverse global network, present in more than 70 countries and with 36,000 members representing the entire value chain: World Green Building Council (WorldGBC).
